With this exhibition, Elisa Rungger presents her artistic work for the first time in a solo show in Val Badia – the place where she was born and raised. For the artist, it is a return to her homeland and marks a particularly personal moment in her career.
The selection of works on display is deliberately broad: It does not simply show a mere snapshot, but includes works that cover a broad temporal spectrum. The exhibition thus offers retrospective elements with a look back at previous work, an insight into current works and a look forward to future artistic development.
Rungger conceives the exhibited works as in-between spaces: sensory realms that do not establish fixed definitions, but instead reveal realities in flux and in the process of becoming. These are visual worlds in which boundaries blur and meanings shift.
